History : The program was established in 1992. Since 2010-2011 the academic year, it has begun to undergraduate education.
The program consists of 6 divisions that are Electrical Machines, Electrical Facilities, Electronics, Control Systems, Telecomunication ve Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Technology.

Specific Admission Requirements : To have high school or equivalent school diploma and to get enough points from related field of Undergraduate Placement Exam (LYS) made by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (OSYM).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the relevant committees and courses approved by Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : To be able to graduate from the program, it is necessary to achieve the whole of the courses available (247 ECTS credits), to obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and to complete 20 workdays of compulsory internship and 75 workdays of Vocational Trainning in Workplace.
Profile of The Programme : The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is a developing department compared to some of the developed universities. Since 2013-2014 the academic year has begun to graduate, our department continues to work to provide continuity and to increase quality. In this context, in addition to the graduate program opened in the 2012-2013 academic year it aims to open a doctoral program education. Existing facilities and the number of faculty members compared to the number of other universities in our country can be compared with the Department of Electrical and Electronics is in intense work to capture.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Graduates of the program can be employed as electrical and electronics engineers in the private sectors, public sectors, municipalities and universities. Graduates also can establish a company and provide the engineering service. Some of them will be able to continue their graduate studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and some in other universities in Turkey or in the world.
Access to Further Studies : Graduates holding a Bachelor's (first cycle) degree are eligible to apply to a Masters (second cycle) degree program at national level and/or international level both in the same and in related disciplines.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : The students take at least one midterm and one final exam in the scope of each enrolled course. In addition to these, quizzes, home works and projects that are determined by the faculty in the syllabus can also be involved in the evaluation criteria. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. Success grade is calculated on the basis of 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Success grade is converted to letter grade with relative evaluation. The student must receive at least CC letter grade in a course to be successful. Students with a GPA of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take. Students who do not have failed courses, but who are below GANO 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) above the 2.00 level to graduate

Facilities : Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is located in the Faculty of Engineering and occupies a total of 2000 square meters. The Faculty of Engineering has 3 amphitheaters and many classrooms that are commonly shared by the departments. All the classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and projectors. Smart boards are being placed to many of the classrooms. The Students also use Electronic and Measurement Laboratory and Control Laboratory.
For applied Software and Computer Science courses, the two 40 seated and two 20 seated computer laboratories of Engineering Faculty are used. The campus involves a library, Medical Center, fields for extracurricular activities, dining halls, cafes and restaurants.
