History : Institute of Health Sciences started its education in the autumn semester of 2000-2001.
Qualification Awarded : Master's Degree in Coaching - Movement and Training is awarded to the graduates who successfully complete all courses in the curriculum
Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Second Cycle
Specific Admission Requirements : In order to be able to enroll in this program, candidates must take at least 55 points from the numerical score of the Academic Postgraduate Placement Examination (ALES) conducted centrally by the Measurement Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The principles for accepting foreign students are determined by the Senate.
In order to be successful in the foreign language, candidates must take at least 40 points from YDS or equivalent points from any of the foreign language exams validated by the Inter-University Council. Those who apply to the programs for which the preparatory class is required for graduate education and those who succeed in the preparatory class in undergraduate education are not required.
In the master's program entrance exam, the grade of achievement must be at least 65 points. The success grade is the sum of 50% of the relevant ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate achievement grade and 20% of the interview grade. Success scores of students who do not enter the interview are not calculated.
Candidates whose achievement score is 65 or higher in the master's program are ranked according to their scores starting from the highest. Candidates in the quota receive a definitive registration for the programs they apply to.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Recognition of prior non-formal and in-formal learning is at the beginning stages in Turkish Higher Education Institutions. Celal Bayar University is not an exception to this; however, exams of exemption are organized at the beginning of each school year for English Language and Computer Skills courses. Students who have completed the proficiencies for these courses on his/her own or through other means, and believes that they have achieved the learning outcomes specified are given the right to take the exemption exam. Students who achieve a passing grade (65%) from these exams are held exempt from the related course in the curriculum. Also, the recognition of the previous formal education, vertical and horizontal transitions between universities are executed according to the "Legislation on the Principals about the Transition between Associate Degrees and Bachelor's Degrees, Double Major, Lateral Major and Credit Transfer between Institutions" that is determined by Turkish Council of Higher Education (YOK). If a student successfully completed a course in another institution, the department can waive that course if there is a corresponding course at Celal Bayar University and the content of that particular course is approved by the department faculty members.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : Students must obtain a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and successfully pass all courses on the programme (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS)
Profile of The Programme : Duration of our program is 1 year for courses and 1 year for thesis preparation. Among the courses given are Anatomy, Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Theory and Methodology of Training, Research and Laboratory Methods in Health and Sports Sciences, Exercise for protection against diseases, Geriatric Exercise Science, Immune System and Exercise, Sports Nutrition and Ergogenic Aids.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Graduates of Coaching - Movement and Training Sciences are employed in various public and private sector institutions (In hotels, holiday villages, fitness centers, health institutions, in universities as research assistants and sports instructors, etc.). In addition, they have the chance to further their careers by participating in third cycle (PhD) programs.
Access to Further Studies : Graduates who successfully completed the Master's Degree may apply to Doctorate (third cycle) programmes in the same or in related disciplines.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Evaluation criteria for each course are determined by the faculty member who is teaching the course and these evaluation criteria are available on the University Course Information Catalogue. The students are required to take at least one midterm and one final exam in the scope of each enrolled course. In addition to these, quizzes, homeworks, presentations, projects etc. are determined by the faculty member to be involved in the evaluation criteria. At the end of the year, the grades of the students are calculated by the combination of midterm and final exam grades, in-year activities and participation in class.

Graduation Requirements : To be successful in the Master's program student must take a minimum of totally 24 credits in at least eight courses, one seminar course and thesis study And must complete at least 120 ECTS credits in maximum six semesters, including not less than 60 ECTS credits in a school year, including seminar courses and thesis work.

Facilities : In our program, there are 4 professor, 6 associate professor and 2 assistant professors. Our students can make use of the facilities of Faculty of Sport Sciences such as library, performance laboratory, and MCBU' s Fitness Center.
