Candidates who will apply to the Master of Women Studies Program, 1. Having a bachelor's degree, 2. Academic Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) is equal to at least 55 points in weight, 3. Taking equivalent points from any of the foreign language exams (YDS) score of at least 40 or foreign language exams approved by the Council of Universities; Students who can not fulfill these conditions must take at least 40 points from the central foreign language examination administered by the University, 4. Success grade must be at least 65. The success grade is 50% of the ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate achievement grade and 20% of the interview grade. Success scores for those who do not enter the interview are not calculated. Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Students who have completed at least one semester, have not received disciplinary action, and have succeeded in the course of another institution of the Institute or in a postgraduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted to the postgraduate programs by horizontal transfer. Students who are entitled to a horizontal transfer may request that they be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. In addition, the scientific preparatory program can be applied to make up for the shortcomings of candidate students who have obtained their undergraduate or graduate degrees in different undergraduate or higher education institutions.

The Master of Women Studies program requires a minimum of 120 ECTS credits including a minimum of nine courses (the number indicated in the training plan in which the student is attached), a seminar course in the second term and a thesis study, which are not less than 60 ECTS credits of an academic year. It occurs. The duration of the program is four semesters, regardless of whether or not they are enrolled for each semester, beginning with the term of the course, with a maximum completion duration of six semesters. In the first four semesters of this course, the courses must be successfully completed. The minimum duration of the program is three semesters.

The Master's program of Women and Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary program that covers the disciplines such as Philosophy, Economics, Political Science and Public Administration, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, Communication, History, Sports. Program also covers qualitative and quantitative research methodology lectures. Faculty members from the mentioned departments in Celal Bayar University carry out the Master's program of Women and Gender Studies. The students gain knowledge and skills on academic studies and on population based control programs since they have a multidispliner training. The Master's Program of Women and Gender Studies aims to train researchers and experts who carry out both academic studies and population based programs to eliminate gender inequality. The program also aims to train workers in public institutions such as social services, health services, educational services etc in order to increase public service quality for women.

Graduates of the program may take part directly or indirectly in issues of women and gender in fields of activity such as the Ministry of Family and Social Politics, General Directorate of Women's Status, Social Services and Child Protection Agency, Turkish Statistical Institution, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labour, and Social Security or in public organizations, local administrations, development agencies, or in international establishments such as the Turkish representatives of the United Nations, the Turkish Delegation of the European Union, embassies interested in the area and international civil organizations. In addition, they may also work as academicians in universities.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|

|
Examinations consist of midterm, final and makeup exams. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems appropriate can be done. The number of these activities and the contribution to the course grades are stated in the course plan by the teaching staff. Exams; Written, oral, written, oral or practical. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. The contribution of the final exam grade to the achievement grade can not be less than 40% and not more than 60%. The assignment of letter grade intervals is carried out by the instructor.
