Specific Admission Requirements : To register to graduate programs, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and take the score of not less than 55 points about the applied program in the Academic Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES).
To be successful in the foreign language, candidates must take at least 40 points in the Public Personnel Foreign Language Proficiency Examination (YDS).
Those who apply to programs for which preparatory class is required for graduate education and those who succeed in preparatory class in undergraduate education are not required.
Entrance exams for the grade programs must be at least 65 points. Passing grade is the sum of the 50% of the ALES exam, 30% of the grade license score and 20% interview. Success scores of students who do not enter the interview are not calculated.
Candidates whose achievement score is 65 or higher in the master's program are ranked according to their scores starting from the highest. Candidates in the quota receive a definitive registration for the programs they apply to .

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : If a student is enrolled in a postgraduate program at another university, then the courses taken at a graduate degree in the University will be counted as the minimum courseload. To do this, they must submit the approved transcript and course content to the relevant unit within one week after the registration week with a petition.

The total ECTS credit of the program is 120. A student in the graduate program must write the results of the thesis in accordance with the thesis writing rules of the relevant institute and defend his thesis verbally in front of the jury.
Profile of The Programme : This program educates science experts with a sense of professional nursing, and the maintenance requirements of individuals, families and communities susceptible to health problems at national and international levels. The graduates are able to do scientific research on national and international levels, gain knowledge and skills of applications and are capable of transmitting the teaching of pediatric nursing procedures, and in using methods of pediatrics in the nursing field.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Specialist the area work at health care facilities, including public and private sector as experts nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Schools of Nursing and Schools of Health and departments of Health Sciences Faculty as a lecturer in Nursing and Midwifery.
Access to Further Studies : Graduates who successfully completed the Master's Degree (second cycle) may apply to doctorate (third cycle) programs in the same or in related disciplines. Candidates who have successfully completed postgraduate studies can study graduate (PhD) programs with obligated requirement score from the Academic Staff and Graduate Study Education Exam (ALES) and Foreign Language Examination (YDS).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Exams consist of midterms, final and makeup exams. In addition to these, quizzes, home works and projects that are determined by the faculty in the syllabus can also be involved in the evaluation criteria. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. The exams can be written, oral, written, oral or practical. All exam are evaluated over 100 points. Success grade is converted to letter grade with relative evaluation. The success grade is calculated by taking the percentages of the midterm and the other activities determined by the instructor so that it does not fall below 50% of the contribution of the final exam. Letter grade limits are determined by the instructor. The student must receive at least CC letter grade in a course to be successful.

Facilities : The department provides Turkish education. Computer, technical and simulation laboratories are available for students to use. There are two skill labs for students' laboratory applications. In the skills labs, there are two adult models allowing cardiac and respiratory massage, anatomy model, skeletal model, episiotomy model, bimanual examination, which allow basic nursing practices in the skill laboratories (vascular access opening, making the injection, cathetering and tube application to the body cavities etc.) newborn care and child CPR and application models, birth patterns, microscope, simulation model, blood pressure measuring instruments, thermomether, weigh bridge and so on tools and equipment. There are computer labs, library, gym, conference room, cafeteria and tennis tables in the cafeteria for students of the nursing department. Students can go to agreed universities in the frame work Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana programs maximum of two semesters. In our department; there are 1 Professor, 5 Associate Professors, 7 Assistant Professors and 1 Instructorare on duty.
