Manisa Vocational School, was established on the date of 22.07.2008 by the decision of the Board of Higher Education General Assembly in order to contribute to meet the need for intermediate technical stuff of Manisa region.

Admission to the vocational school is arranged within the framework of Turkish Higher Education Council law and decisions. Students are admitted to the Machinery Program in accordance with the Higher Education Entrance Examination (YKS). Students taking enough points from TYT are admitted to the Machinery Program.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.

Students are required to complete 120 ECTS credits. The maximum period for completing associate degree education is 4 years.

Profile of The Programme

A student who earned the associate degree program of the Mechanical Drawing and Construction Program will be accompanied by a program consisting of integration of areas of multi-disciplinary learning such as physics, foreign language, information technology as well as field-specific courses such as technical and professional image, bookmarking, material knowledge, hydraulic-pneumatic and computer-aided design. The main goal of the program is to train rapidly developing, knowledgeable skills required by science and technology, and the ability to transfer this knowledge to practice, at the same time and in future.

Mechanical Drawing and Construction program graduates; form the bridge between industrial vocational high school graduates and mechanical engineers. Mechanical Drawing and Construction Technique is an intermediate element that understands the engineer's language because the technical painter knows the drawing techniques well and has knowledge in design and engineering issues. The aim of this program, which is proposed for student recruitment, is to train those who have the skills to bet.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|
:
|
There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they are taking are evaluated in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated by the instructor in the course plan. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take
