A- Candidates must have at least 55 ALES points in the score type of the program they apply for physical education and sports teaching undergraduate diploma. B-In order to succeed in the foreign language, it is necessary to obtain equivalent points from YDS at least 40 or any of the foreign language exams accepted by the Inter-University Board. C-Students who do not meet the Language requirement should obtain at least 40 points from the central foreign language exam held by the university. The D-Actual grade must be at least 65. E-Prime Minister grade is the sum of 50 %of the relevant ALES score, 30 %of the undergraduate achievement grade and 20 %of the interview exam grade. The success grade of the students who do not interview is not calculated.

Students studying at Manisa Celal Bayar University may be exempt from some courses within the framework of certain regulations. If the contents of the course taken from another institution are in accordance with the content of the course given in our section and approved by the relevant Faculty Board/Institute Directorate, the student may be exempted from this course/courses.

SIn order to graduate from the Master's Program with Physical Education and Sports Teaching thesis; A total of 120 ECTS credit program, including at least seven courses, a seminar course and 60 ECTS thesis work, should be successfully completed, provided that it is not less than at least 21 national loans and 60 ECTS loans.

Profile of The Programme

The Master of Physical Education and Sports Teaching provides specialization for sports scientists and physical education teacher. The program gives priority to the pedagogical approach, including physical education processes in the school, as well as research models that can be applied to sports groups for health. It includes compulsory courses related to physical education and sports and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses, the elective courses, which are offered the chance to choose according to their own preferences, have added a versatile feature to the program. Thus, Sports Education Master's Program gives priority to the pedagogical approach and includes research models that can be applied to sports groups as well as physical education processes in the school. Application models in the concept of sports didctic and pedagogy are presented based on scientific researches in line with contemporary approaches. In addition, physical education and sports teaching master's program will be able to apply the existing information to the field, communicate with other experts in the field and cooperate with new projects by following the latest trends. It aims to train qualified and researcher individuals who can produce, interpret existing information and take part in undergraduate and graduate programs. With this program, it is aimed to raise individuals who can discuss the existing or possible sports sciences problems in our country and in the world with the development of creativity and problem solving skills of the students.

Those who successfully complete the Master's Program with Physical Education and Sports Thesis; They are entitled to receive a master's degree in physical education and sports. Graduates can be thrown into business in public and private sector organizations and continue their academic studies in doctoral programs of domestic and international educational institutions.

Access to Further Studies

Graduates who have successfully completed the Master's Program can apply for doctoral programs in their fields and multiple disciplined areas, provided that they receive a valid grade from the ALES exam and ensure English language competence and are accepted if they are successful in the interview exam.

Graduation Requirements

To be successful in at least eight courses, a seminar courses and thesis work provided that it is not less than twenty -four (24) credit; To complete at least 120 ECTS loans in a maximum of six semesters, including seminar courses and thesis work, provided that they are not less than 60 ECTS loans in an academic year.
