Specific Admission Requirements

Candidates applying should meet the following criteria: 1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in business management or related disciplines, 2. Applicants for the MBA program (the medium of instruction is in English), a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.50/4.00 is required, 3. Minimum score of 55 in the Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) or equivalent score, 4. Minimum score of 65 in any foreign language exam recognized by the Interuniversity Board, 5. Minimum success score of 65 in entrance exams (Success score is calculated as the sum of 50% of the relevant ALES score, 30% of the undergraduate GPA, and 20% of the interview exam score. Candidates who do not attend the interview do not have their success score calculated.) 6. Candidates with a placement score of 65 or higher are ranked starting from the highest score. Candidates within the quota are granted definite registration rights in their chosen programs. Other ranked candidates are designated as reserves and announced by the relevant institute directorate. In case of tie, priority is given successively to higher ALES score, higher undergraduate GPA, and higher foreign language score. 7. Evaluation of candidates' undergraduate GPAs in the 4-point grading system is converted to a percentage system according to equivalency tables determined either by their own universities or, if not available, by the Higher Education Council.

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)

Successful students who have completed at least one semester in any department of the institute or in another graduate program of another higher education institution may be admitted via horizontal transfer. Acceptance of the student depends on having successfully completed all courses taken until the date of transfer and not having received disciplinary penalties. Students granted horizontal transfer rights may request exemption from courses successfully completed at their previous institutions.

The MBA in Management (in English) with Thesis program consists of a minimum of 120 ECTS credits, including seminars and thesis work, not less than 30 ECTS credits per academic year. The program duration spans four semesters starting from the semester of course commencement, with a maximum completion period of six semesters. Successful completion of courses is required within the initial four semesters. The minimum program duration is three semesters.

Additionally, the program aims to guide students interested in entrepreneurship with courses in entrepreneurship, organization, and management.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|

|
Examinations consist of midterm, final, and makeup exams. In addition to midterm exams, short exams, projects, and other activities deemed appropriate by the instructor may be conducted. The number and contribution of these activities to the final grade are specified in the course plan by the instructor. Exams may be conducted in written, oral, combined written and oral, or practical formats. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. The semester-end exam contribution to the final grade cannot be less than 40% or more than 60%. Grading scale intervals are determined by the course instructor. A minimum grade of CC is required to pass a course, provided that a 70% attendance rate is maintained throughout the course. Thesis work, specialization courses, and seminars are evaluated as pass or fail and are not included in the grade point average calculation.

1. Successful defense of the thesis 2. Fulfillment of other necessary conditions for graduation within the maximum period allowed 3. Submission of at least two copies of the master's thesis prepared in accordance with the thesis writing guide and bound within one month from the date of thesis defense to the Graduate School.

MBA programme is carried out by the faculty members at Faculty of Business including 1 full-professor, 5 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors. The program takes place in the Graduate School and Faculty of Business buildings and classrooms that are equipped with advanced technical facilities. Furthermore, students have access to all printed and electronic resources of the University Library located on campus.
