History : Manisa Celal Bayar University Salihli Vocational School was founded in 1992. In 1993-1994 education year, Leather Garments Program has started training and teaching.

Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Pre Bachelor
Specific Admission Requirements : It is necessary to have a high school and balanced school diploma and to get enough points from the related subject of Higher Education Entrance Examination (YGS) made by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (OSYM).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the relevant committees and courses approved by Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : A student has to pass all the courses (a total of 120 ACTS), obtain at least 2.00 GPA over 4.00, avoid FF or FD for any courses and complete the compulsory internship in order to be able to successfully complete the program.
Profile of The Programme : This programme gives the courses about leather garments. İn order to that our country which is important producer of leather garments,designs and produces products with higher added value .it aims at providing students with the knowledge and application about design ,model,last,leather clothing business in line with expecttataions of leather sector.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : First of all in leather and fur garments enterprises in İZMİR and İSTANBUL ,leather goods the firms that export and produce (bag,belt, wallet) firms that produce and commercialize leather clothing and fur

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful in the courses they take or not in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered to be successful in grades. Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is below 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) to get their GANOs above 2.00 in order to graduate.
