General Information

History	:	Manisa Celal Bayar University Salihli Vocational School was founded in 1992. The same year, education began.

Qualification Awarded	:	Foreign Trade Program Associate Degree

Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle)	:	Pre Bachelor

Specific Admission Requirements	:	To have a high school diploma and to obtain sufficient points from the related field of Higher Education Transfer Examination (YGS) made by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM).

Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)	:	Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations	:	To successfully complete the program, they can graduate on condition that they pass all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), obtain a GPA of 2.00 over 4.00, and complete compulsory internships.

Profile of The Programme	:	Globalization, permits the free movement of goods and capital in the international arena, thus, foreign trade (exports and imports) brings about an increase in volumes. Foreign trade program, import and export-oriented banking, transport, customs, foreign trade-related sectors such as the work aims to train manpower.

Access to Further Studies	:	State and private universities in four-year business administration, economics, banking and finance, international trade, logistics management, departments are able to continue to receive university education. In addition, the relevant statute of Distance Education degree programs are also entitled to make a vertical transition.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading	:	There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they are taking are evaluated in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated by the instructor in the course plan. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. The student must take a CC as a letter grade so that a dersten can be considered successful. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take. Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is under 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) to graduate and increase their GANO to 2.00 in order to graduate.
