History : Manisa Celal Bayar University Ahmetli Vocational School was founded in 1994. In the 1994-1995 education year , Accounting and Tax Application Program has been started training and teaching.

Specific Admission Requirements : It is necessary to have a high school and balanced school diploma and to get enough points from the related subject of Higher Education Entrance Examination (YGS) made by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (OSYM).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Formal. Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the relevant committees and courses approved by Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : To successfully complete the program, they can graduate on condition that they pass all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS credits), obtain a weighted average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and complete compulsory internships.
Profile of The Programme : Accounting and Tax Application Program aims to nurture qualified staff for ındustry and financial institutions, to meet the intermediate staff need for accounting office, to nurture the staff who can use office programmes, and have a knowledge about uniform chart of accounts, financial and fiscal legislation, can speak foreign languages. This program aims to nurture intermediate staff who can begin himself business or can take responsibility at accounting departments or can profess Accountant and Financial Advisor occupation.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Students who are graduated from this program are employed at the accounting departments of public and private institutions (etc. Banks, Insurance Company, Financial Company) and near independent accountant and financial advisor. When our students do apprenticeship for 3 years and succeed the Independent Accountant and Financial Advisor Exam, they will have "Independent Accountant and Financial Advisor" title.
Access to Further Studies : Those who receive sufficient points from the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center may choose the following undergraduate programs:
Public Relations, Public Relations and Publicity, Public Relations and Advertising, Communication, Business, Business Informatics, Economics and Business, Logistics Management, Marketing, Advertising, Advertising and Public Relations, International Trade, International Trade and Finance, International Business.
In addition, the relevant statute of Distance Education degree programs are also entitled to make a vertical transition.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful in the courses they take or not in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered to be successful in grades. Students who do not have a failed course, but whose GANO is below 2.00, must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) to get their GANOs above 2.00 in order to graduate.
Graduation Requirements : All the students who want to graduate successfully must have at least 2.00 grade point average from 4.00 for completing all available courses (120 ECTS equivalent) in the Accounting and Tax Application Program.
