Demirci Vocational School was established on 25.01.1994. Foreign Trade Program 1994 - 1995 Education - Academic Year Starting from student intake. The department continues to teach and educate as second education.

Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.

To successfully complete the program, they can graduate on condition that they pass all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), obtain a GPA of 2.00 over 4.00, and complete compulsory internships.

Globalization allows free movement of goods and capital on the international scene, thus increasing the volume of foreign trade (export and import) of the countries. The foreign trade program aims to cultivate the intermediate human power to work in the business sectors related to foreign trade such as import and export based banking, transportation and customs.

State and foundation universities have the right to transfer vertically to 4 year business, economics, banking and finance, international trade, logistics management departments and related Open Education graduate programs.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|

There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they are taking are evaluated in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated by the instructor in the course plan. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take.

The department has technical equipment, such as computer labs, computer training, projection equipment, required by science and technology. From time to time, efforts are being made to increase the knowledge and culture levels of students through technical visits to free zones and firms.
