Demirci Vocational School was established on 25.01.1994. Accounting and Tax Applications Program 1994 - 1995 Education - Academic Year Starting from student intake. The department continues to teach teaching as structured teaching.

Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.

To successfully complete the program, they can graduate on condition that they pass all the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), obtain a GPA of 2.00 over 4.00, and complete compulsory internships.

In parallel to today's fast-growing economy, business volumes of enterprises are constantly increasing. Increasing business volume control and control increases the importance of the accounting and finance departments of the enterprises and requires that the knowledge of the staff members in these departments is high and qualified. The aim of the program is to educate qualified personnel who can work in computerized accounting, which financial institutions need. In the program, accounting and tax issues, bookkeeping, inventory taking and taxation, as well as courses on computer use are given.

State and foundation universities have the right to transfer vertically to 4 year business, economics, banking and finance, international trade, logistics management departments and related Open Education graduate programs.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
|

There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they are taking are evaluated in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated by the instructor in the course plan. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take.

The department has technical equipment, such as computer labs, computer training, projection equipment, required by science and technology. Work is being carried out to increase the knowledge and culture levels of the students through seminars that are organized from time to time.
