Upon successful completion of this programme, the enrolled students will be gaining the following knowledge, skills and competences ;
1- To be able to conduct research on Econometrics, Statistics and Operations Research, to make use of this research in maximum level and to prepare and present seminars by reporting this research in accordance with scientific standards.
2- To be able to use theoretical knowledge gained in Econometrics, Statistics and Operations Research in practice.
3- To be able to perform studies, articles, theses etc. based on scientific ethics and scientific standards that can be published.
4- To be able to evaluate economic problems and events independently with numerical tools and methods, to be able to produce solutions and to be able to interpret the results obtained.
5- To be able to have the necessary numerical understanding in order to be able to produce solutions and to develop different approaches for problems that may be encountered.
6- To be able to critically evaluate the information related to the field of econometrics and to be able to make advanced studies in the field.
7- To be able to work collaboratively as a member of a scientific group.
8- To be able to present current information on Econometrics and their own work both verbally and visually.
9- To be able to use advanced computer software and information technologies to facilitate solutions in Econometrics, Statistics and Operations Research branches.
10- To be able to develop policies and methods in economic and social issues.
11- To be able to communicate verbal and written on at least one foreign language.
12- To be able to be mindful of social, scientific and ethical values in researches about economic and social problems.
