Upon successful completion of this programme, the enrolled students will be gaining the following knowledge, skills and competences ;

6- To be able to solve the problems related to aging, healthy aging, body mechanics and physical changes that can be seen in advanced age
7- To be able to offer care to improve the quality of life in advanced age
8- To be able to recognize acute, chronic and contagious diseases that may be seen in advanced age, follow up treatment and apply first aid in case of emergency
9- To be able to demonstrate active and passive physical rehabilitation for healthy aging and age-appropriate sports activities
10- To be able to have sufficient information about drug use, job security and communication in elderly and to use
11- To be able to support bed-dependent and terminal period illnesses and relatives and solve psychological problems
12- To be able to have professional ethics and social responsibility
