History : Since 2013-2014 Education year, Manisa Celal Bayar University Kula Vocational School’s Public Finance programme has started to admit its first students by coming into operation actively
Qualification Awarded : Public Finance Associate Degree
Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Short Cycle
Specific Admission Requirements : To have high school and its equivalent diploma and to get enough points from related subject of Higher Education Entrance Exam conducted by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM in Turkish).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the Foreign Language Course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : It is required that students must be successful in the compulsory and elective courses equaled to totally 120 ECTS as explained at department programme. Plus, Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) must be at least 2.00/4.00 in order to gain Pre Bachelors degree from Public Finance Programme.
Profile of The Programme : Department of Finance aim to teach the basics of the science of finance, budgeting, financial planning and tax issues is to train qualified and creative elements. Forming an important part in the general economy, financial events related to the public economy, and interpret their effects and consequences of various aspects of the Turkish tax system, taking into account the basic goal of educating people to evaluate.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Those graduating from this programme work as financier with associate diploma. There are many employment opportunities for those graduating from public finance programme. Gradutes from this programme are generally employed in public sector.On the other hand, They have opportunities to work especially in the areas of accounting and public accounting office in private sector, and to work in the many other areas of private sector.
Access to Further Studies : On condition that they become successful in vertical transfer examination made by Student Selection and Placement Programme , Those Who graduate successfully from Public Finance programme can pass to departments of Banking, Banking and finance, Labour economics and industrial relations, Business, Business information Managenment, Economy, Public finance, Public Administration, Political Science, Local Governments, Accounting and Auditing, Capital Market, Insurance, Insurance and risk Management, International finance, International Business Administration and International Trade
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : Evaluation criteria for each course are determined by the faculty member teaching the course and this evaluation criterion is available on the University Course Information Catalogue. The students are required to take at least one midterm and one final exam in the scope of each enrolled course. In addition to these, quizzes, homework, presentations, projects etc. are determined by the faculty member to be involved in the evaluation criteria. At the end of the year, the grades of the students are calculated by the combination of midterm and final exam grades, in-year activities, and participation in class. Those evaluations are transformed into a final grade in a proclaimed manner and added in cumulative academic grade, proportional with courses ECTS.
Graduation Requirements : It is required that students get the lessons necessary in order for them to graduate in legal period and required that they finalise their programme, which students continue to study, with the score 2.00 Grade Point Average (GNO) at least as long as being successful in these lessons in addition to being successful in their internship.

Facilities : Education is given as Turkish in Public Finance Programme. There exist the classrooms, laboratories, sports fields and canteen open to students' usage within Kula Vocational School. There are 3 lecturer working in our programme.
