History : Manisa Health Services Vocational School was established in 1993-1994. First and Emergency Aid Program started education and taking students in 2014-2015 Academic year.

Specific Admission Requirements : To have high school and balanced school diploma and to get enough points from related subject of Higher Education Entrance Exam (YGS) made by Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM)
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have attended in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the foreign language course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by Senate. Students who pass the exemption exam pass are exempted from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : To successfully complete the program, they can graduate on condition that they pass all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS credits), obtain a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 and compulsory internship.
Profile of The Programme : The First and Emergency pre bachelor degree program is designed to provide students can provide emergency medical care and care to save the lives of patients / victims in prehospital emergency medical services in case of sudden illness injuries, can apply other emergency medical initiatives within the framework of the authorities granted to them with the Basic Life Support and the Advanced Life Support at the scene, provide safe transportation of patients or injured persons who are capable of recognizing any type of system trauma and appropriate emergency intervention in an ambulance to hospitals, to train health technicians who have continuous knowledge of new developments in the field, good communication, team work, ability to recognize and solve problems, and sufficient knowledge and skills in the field.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Program graduates are employed in the ambulance services (land, air and sea ambulances) of the Ministry of Health, university hospitals and private health institutions and in the emergency service units of these institutions in the fire department (AKS-110).
Access to Further Studies : Graduates of the programs have the opportunity to enter the vertical transfer examination according to the relevant legislation and to complete the license.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful or not from the courses they have taken in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Quizzes, projects other than the midterm examinations and other activities that the instructor deems appropriate can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and achievement grade is indicated in the course plan by the instructor. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be regarded as successful, a student must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GPA score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered to be successful in grades. Students who do not have a failed course but whose GPA is below 2.00 must first take the courses (DC) and (DD) in order to graduate and increase their GPA above 2.00.
