Upon successful completion of this programme, the enrolled students will be gaining the following knowledge, skills and competences ;
1- To be able to have basic theoretical and practical knowledge about the field and use it
2- To be able to distinguish the anatomical structure and physiology of all systems in human body
3- To be able to evaluate patients and events in pre-hospital emergencies
4- To be able to evaluate apply prehospital emergency care principles to medical emergency
5- To be able to have general information about emergency health services in Turkey and in the world, constantly renewing itself by following developments in science and technology
6- To be able to use patient transportation techniques and to be able to give appropriate position to patients or injured patients during patient transportation
7- To be able to apply general approach rules in trauma patients, to use trauma equipment
8- To be able to apply basic life support, advanced airway applications, advanced life support, monitoring and defibrillation
9- To be able to apply medicines and liquids used in prehospital emergency care
10- To be able to use emergency vehicles, to define mechanical and technical equipment
11- To be able to explain the concepts of safety, environmental protection, quality
12- To be able to have vocational ethics and social responsibility awareness, to communicate effectively in terms of diction and behavior in oral and nonverbal communication
