History : Gordes Vocational School was established on 25.01.1994.
Accounting and Tax Practices Program started to take students in 1994-1995 Education -Academic Year.

Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle) : Pre Bachelor
Specific Admission Requirements : To have high school and equivalent school diploma and to get enough points from TYT score type of Higher Education Institutions Exam conducted by Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal) : Students enrolled in the program can be exempted from the courses they have achieved in the higher education institutions they have already studied. Also; An exemption examination is opened at the beginning of each academic year for the Foreign Language Course and the proposals of the related boards and the courses approved by the Senate. Students who score 65 or more on the exemption exam are exempt from these courses.
Qualification Requirements and Regulations : It must be successfully completed all of the courses (total 120 ECTS equivalent) of the program from a minimum 2.0 grade point average 4.00 to get weighted and must be had 30 business days of internship in a company or institutions.
Profile of The Programme : The purpose of the program, businesses and organizations of the accounting department and public institutions to take responsibility in the accounting service and / or legal requirements after providing open space to run on its behalf is to train qualified manpower.
Understanding of business accounting functions and accounting operations healthy and functioning in a reliable way to ensure the business life in the accounting and tax practices, and innovation needs to understand, entrepreneurs, capable of analytical thinking is to train professional staff.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples : Alumni accounting offices, accounting departments of businesses, banks can find a job.
Access to Further Studies : Students can continue their graduate education who can success for DGS examination. In addition, the Anadolu University Open Education Faculty is also possible to complete their undergraduate education without examination.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading : There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Whether the students are successful in the courses they are taking are evaluated in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated by the instructor in the course plan. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. In order for a student to be considered a successful dersten, he must obtain CC as a minimum grade. Students with a GANO score of at least 2.00 (DC) and (DD) are considered successful in the courses they take.
