Upon successful completion of this programme, the enrolled students will be gaining the following knowledge, skills and competences ;
1- To be able to know general properties and usage areas of industrial materials and make selection.
2- To be able to drawing and design of machine elements.
3- To be able to make production by using machining looms and welding machines.
4- To be able to make measurement, manufacturing control, quality control, statistics, quality management systems, planning, application, inspection and improvement processes for machine technology with measurement and control instruments.
5- To be able to make necessary corrections in order to determine the mistakes by using the necessary non-destructive test methods in the welded parts.
6- To be able to by statistically predicting the faults that will occur in the machines, preventive maintenance can be made to prevent these faults from occurring and necessary interventions can be made in case of breakdown.
7- To be able to make drawings of work pieces on CAD station and to apply them on CNC machines. Ability to operate and use CAD / CAM and AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS package programs.
8- To be able to transfer engineering sciences and technology to practice by making calculations in the direction of scientific principles.
9- To be able to arrange the repair and operation of the elements in pneumatic and hydraulic systems which are indispensable elements of automatic control systems.
10- To be able to the student who is trained as a machine technician during the entire program is able to make mistakes, problem solving, decision making, function and activities as industrial task definition in the field of work.
11- To be able to do operator operations on CNC Turning and CNC Milling.
12- To be able to research, prepare and present a subject in line with scientific working rules and ethics in a subject of interest related to the profession.
13- To be able to know and make selection of machining, chipless and advanced manufacturing methods and techniques.
14- To be able to classify machine elements according to their properties with basic static and strength information, to calculate their strength and to select the appropriate element.
15- To be able to have actual experience of business, operation and operation in a business related to the field.
