Upon successful completion of this programme, the enrolled students will be gaining the following knowledge, skills and competences ;
1- Knows the general properties and usage areas of industrial materials and makes their selection.
2- Designs machine elements.
3- Uses machining and chipless manufacturing benches and welding machines.
4- It carries out the necessary measurement, manufacturing control, quality control, planning and application processes with measuring and control instruments for machine technology.
5- Obtains the necessary information to eliminate these errors by learning non-destructive testing methods on welded parts.
6- It detects errors that may occur in the machines in advance, applies maintenance methods that will prevent these errors from occurring, and makes the necessary interventions in case of malfunction.
7- He makes technical drawings of work pieces and their applications on CNC machines. Runs and uses CAD/CAM and AUTOCAD package programs.
8- He makes calculations in the fields of mathematics and science related to his profession and puts them into practice.
9- Recognizes the elements in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, which are indispensable elements of automatic control systems, and designs and implements the system.
10- Follows the information in his field and communicates with his colleagues by using a foreign language.
11- Establishes healthy communication and teamwork with the employees under his/her responsibility.
12- Have knowledge about occupational health and safety processes.
13- By correctly using the knowledge and skills he has acquired, he provides the quality service needed by the sector and constantly improves himself by following the current developments in matters related to his profession.
